The blow moulding technology allows a wide variety of hollow plastic parts to be produced. Form, function, size and weight can be selected for various applications, such as for leads, pipes and containers as well as for packagings and technical blow mouldings. During this process a thermoplastic polymer melt is formed into a parison by extrusion and then inflated with compressed air in a closed mould. The outer surface of the plastic melt takes on the inner contour of the blow mould. When the melt has cooled, the coreless moulding can be removed.
