Injection moulds for plastic prototypes are produced by forming of stereo lithographic (STL) models in metal-filled epoxy resins. Several hundred parts can be produced in this way. Mould inserts are generally made of aluminium or steel. Pilot series injection moulds for several thousand plastic parts are made of aluminium or steel.

Average production time
- Parts from resin moulds are generally completed within 5 weeks of receipt of the 3D data, parts from aluminium moulds within 10 weeks.
