Use is made here of the following methods
- CNC lathed or milled parts, aluminium sand castings and precision castings. Aluminium sand castings are predominantly employed in our product group for GIT pipes, water tanks and adapters. The connectors are subsequently reworked on CNC machines. Precision casting is suitable for the production of containers with the outer shell being cast with internal ribs. Brackets and connectors are welded on or bonded in.
- Sheet metal processing by embossing, deep drawing, plate-type coolant expansion tank prototypes for long-term tests can be made from stainless steel. Production is by simple plate construction or by more sophisticated production of the outer geometry by press forming. Internal ribs, brackets, connectors and filler neck threads are produced on CNC machines and welded on.
- Mechanical machining from solid material.
Average production time
- The first aluminium sand casting prototypes are completed within approx. 5 weeks of the release of the data and placement of the order.
- With press forming and plate-type construction, the first parts are completed within approx. 6 weeks of the release of the data and placement of the order.
Applications
- Fatigue testing
- Test drives
Materials
- Stainless steel, aluminium.
