Field of application and function

• The supporting frame is positioned directly in the oil sump of the automatic transmission and fixes all the elements of the fully integrated transmission controller.
• Together with the bonded film, the frame forms an oil-tight housing for the electronics.

Application conditions and specific demands

• The operating medium is transmission oil with aggressive additives.
• Has to withstand temperatures up to + 140° C.

Materials

• Made of heat-stabilised polyamide with 35 percent glass fibres (PA 66 GF 35).
