Our Santiago de Querétaro site, opened in 2015, is centrally located in the Mexican highlands approximately 200 kilometres north-west of Mexico City, in a rapidly growing industrial zone with numerous companies from the automotive sector located in the area.
The surrounding area is well supported with good infrastructure, services and education. The central position of the plant means we benefit from short distances to our customers and suppliers. This allows us to ensure minimal response times and lower transport costs.
The international team of GEIGER Automotive has transferred know-how to the site. In this way, we are perfecting Thermoplast injection moulding and assembly at the plant and can further expand it.
In a production area of 2,200 square meters, we manufacture technical engine bay components for the automotive industry using three injection moulding machines with associated automated assembly lines and testing facilities.
Here single component injection moulding processes are used with machines having a clamping force from 50 – 650 tons. Processes including 2 component injection, GIT and PIT can also be implemented.
Additionally we are using hot plate welding systems as well as automated assembly and test systems.
