In Tambach-Dietharz, Thuringia with a production area of approx. 23,000 m², GEIGER Automotive is steadily gaining experience in blow moulding technology and here, as in Murnau, carries out research into new materials for the further development of the products and processes. Since the beginning of 2006, the gas injection (GIT) and water injection (WIT) technologies have also been successfully employed in series production at this plant. With blow moulding technology and GIT/WIT, GEIGER Automotive can offer its customers an almost unlimited range of pipes in a wide variety of forms. Air ducts, reservoirs and many other plastic products are produced on 32 blow moulding machines with mould clamping forces from one up to 100 tonnes. The injection moulding shop (34 machines with mould clamping forces from 25 to 1,300 tons) completes the range of versatile manufacturing technologies.
